University of Washington. 2015 to 2017. With R. Congdon.

An introductory design computing course on digital design and fabrication and mixed-media representation techniques. The format included architecture laboratories, lectures and demonstrations to introduce computing in architectural design and planning. I taught this class for three academic quarters.

I revised the syllabus and included a design project for the students to test what they learn about digital design and fabrication while making a playground. After coming up with a theme for their playground, each student designed a play structure and built a Rhino model and several digitally fabricated physical models for her design.
